Axtra3D Scales Revenue, Channel, and Customer Adoption in First Half of 2025

Significant growth in revenue, expanding global reseller presence, and repeat machine purchases signal continued market traction for Axtra3D’s Hi-Speed SLA technology

August 5, 2025, Charlotte, NC – Axtra3D, the company transforming photopolymer 3D printing through its patented Hi-Speed SLA technology, today announced strong progress across revenue, global channel expansion, and customer retention in the first half of 2025.

Axtra3D’s continued focus on production-grade applications and customer-centric innovation has led to its most impactful first half to date, with the company on track to double its 2024 revenue in the second half of the year. It has also significantly expanded reseller coverage, increased multi-machine adoption across a growing customer base, and set a new benchmark for service and reliability

H1 2025 Milestones:

Revenue Acceleration: Axtra3D experienced a sharp increase in both unit placements and overall revenue in the first half of 2025. With strong momentum and clear visibility, the company is well on track to double its 2024 revenue in the second half of the year. This growth has been fueled by rising demand across key verticals including industrial production, dental, automotive, and service bureaus.

Channel Growth: The company’s global reseller channel grew by 40%, including a strategic expansion into Europe and near-complete coverage of the U.S. market. This enhanced reach enables faster deployment, localized support, and broader access to Axtra3D’s technology.

Customer Loyalty: 25% of Axtra3D customers have already invested in multiple systems, underscoring long-term confidence in the Lumia X1 platform and its business model. Among them, Protolabs, a global leader in digital manufacturing, installed a second Lumia X1 just nine months after adopting their first system. The rapid expansion reflects Protolabs’ strategic scaling of advanced photopolymer capabilities to meet growing customer demand.

Service and Reliability Excellence: Axtra3D also set a new company benchmark for reliability, receiving only six service visits across its entire fleet during the first half of 2025. This milestone underscores the printer’s robust design, exceptional reliability, and serviceability, engineered specifically for precise, high-throughput production environments.

Platform Ecosystem: Alongside new customer adoption, Axtra3D introduced new resins, developed in collaboration with leading material partners, and released several accessories designed to optimize automation, post-processing, and print handling.

“Our continued momentum is a direct reflection of the confidence our customers and partners have in both the Lumia X1 platform and Axtra3D’s long-term vision,” said Gianni Zitelli, Founder and CEO at Axtra3D. “They are not simply purchasing a printer, they are investing in a scalable, future-ready production solution that consistently delivers in very specific applications where the combination of precision, throughput and functional materials is important.

I remain deeply grateful to our customers and partners for their continued support, and to our impact-driven, resilient team whose dedication makes it all possible.”

Axtra3D products and solutions are currently available in North America, Europe, and Japan, with additional geographic expansion underway. They are actively growing their global reseller network and continually seeking synergistic partnerships with value-added resellers and material partners.

About Axtra3D
Based in the US and Italy, Axtra3D is a global company specializing in Hi-Speed SLA systems that eliminates tradeoffs between print throughput, accuracy, feature resolution, and surface finish, typically found in traditional SLA or DLP systems.

The flagship Lumia X1 Hi-Speed SLA system by Axtra3D represents a significant advancement, combining its Hybrid PhotoSynthesis resin polymerization process with TruLayer, a layer separation technology. HPS utilizes both a laser and a DLP to image simultaneously, while TruLayer enables rapid detachment of the active print layer, resulting in a 20X throughput improvement while preserving the accuracy and fidelity of SLA parts.

Axtra3D operates with two business models.

Axtra Solutions™: This model provides fully optimized, turnkey 3D printing solutions. Customers receive complete print profiles fine-tuned for maximum performance and reliability, supported by Axtra3D’s Applications team and quality material partners.

Axtra OpenAccess™: This model further builds on Axtra Solutions™ and allows customers the flexibility to experiment with new materials and applications. It supports innovation and adaptability, enabling added flexibility.
